the strip felt is recycled from the off cut of the brim ....which i always insist to cut as a ring if the width is wide enough to have a stich operation on it.
So it is aleast 1/2 inch or 13mm...on this case i ve sewn 2 overlock stich and a zig gag stitch for the wire...
I have achieved smaller gauge seams on a MerroW as seam on seam as 1/4 inch or 7mm
This application is part of the hat as a finition to trim the wire....only
The abstract perception as a hat as briefly illustrate is infinite as his movement.
